First of its kind Kia EV Experience Centre opens in Vancouver

Thinking about buying your first electric vehicle? You might have a lot of questions about different electric powertrains, applying for government rebates, installing charging stations at home and charging infrastructure in BC. Kia Canada can answer your questions and make it easy to transition from gas to electric.

Kia Canada has opened a first of its kind EV Experience Centre in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The EV Experience Centre (EVEC) is a dedicated educational centre to learn everything you need to know about electric vehicles. The EVisor, who is a specialist in EV technology (not a salesperson) can help you the pick the right electric vehicle for your lifestyle whether that be a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or all-electric. You will get hands on experience on the many benefits of driving electric, EV charging network and ways to get additional savings with government incentives.

During your EVEC visit, you can stop by the Kia Innovation Story Wall to learn about the history and future of mobility technology, the Chargehub kiosk to learn about different charging hardware and Total Cost of Ownership kiosk to learn the total costs of owning an EV and potential savings with government rebates.

Lastly, you can test drive one of four Kia electric vehicles. The test drive route will highlight the EV charging network in Vancouver, HOV lane access and preferred parking for EVs.
