BC Place Celebrates 40th Anniversary with Special-Edition Hazy Pale Ale

To celebrate BC Place’s 40th anniversary, the stadium has partnered with Granville Island Brewing to create a special-edition Hazy Pale Ale called “40 Years of Amazing.” The beer is available exclusively at BC Place events in 2023.

“This year is all about BC Place honoring our guests,” said Chris May, General Manager of BC Place. “This beer is a tangible way for us to say ‘cheers’ to the fans who have helped make history within these walls.”

“Just like BC Place, our Brewery has been creating unique experiences and occasions for people to come together for 40 years now,” said Brendan Dalton, Brand Manager, Granville Island Brewing. “We needless to say we jumped at the opportunity to celebrate with our partners across the creek.”

The design of the beer label portrays a variety of events and activities that have taken place at BC Place over the years, and each label has a unique colour pattern to mimic the uniqueness of everyone’s own experiences at the stadium.
