IKEA Canada launches new brand campaign to target job seekers across Western Canada
IKEA Canada unveiled Build your career at IKEA, a new brand campaign providing Western Canadians a look inside what it’s like to work for one of the world’s original purpose-led brands.
The campaign features the stories of co-workers from IKEA Canada’s 7,400-strong workforce nationally, who together aspire to create a better everyday life for the many people.
Findings from a recent survey commissioned by IKEA Canada, saw nearly nine in 10 Canadians (85 per cent) agree that it’s important to them to work for purpose-driven employers that live their values. With more and more Canadians “quiet quitting” jobs that don’t fulfill their values, IKEA Canada is perfectly positioned to offer Canadians what they’re looking for – purpose.
While opportunities for professional development is top of mind for Canadians, nearly two-thirds (67 per cent) agree they seek out companies that offer opportunities to work in different areas of the business. In addition, nearly eight in 10 (77 per cent) want to learn new skills. With several in-demand positions available at IKEA Canada at IKEA Canada, Canadians across the West are bound to find what they’re looking for.
