The intermission is over. Cirque du Soleil will be making a grand return to Vancouver under the Big Top with Alegría from March 25 to June 5. The awe-inspiring Alegría has been reimagined with immersive visuals, exciting acrobatics, surreal costumes, vibrant sets and innovative artistries.

Debuted in 1994, Alegría has become one of the most beloved Cirque du Soleil shows and entertained over 14 million guests in 255 cities across 40 countries.

I got an exclusive sneak peek of Hand Balancing and Contortion performance by Mongolian contortionist Oyun-Erdene Senge. Oyuna has been part of four Cirque du Soleil productions: Alegría (2004 – 2013), OVO (2014 – 2015), TOTEM (2015 – 2020) and Alegría – In A New Light (2021 – present) and has performed in over 50 countries.
