Amazon Canada announced the return of its Amazon Designer Spotlight, an exclusive online fashion series that celebrates the creativity, diversity, and impact of Canadian design.

Starting October 24, 2023, at 9 a.m. ET / 6 a.m. PT, Amazon Canada will unveil the captivating stories of six brilliant Canadian designers through a series of biographical videos on its Instagram channel (@amazonca).

This year’s spotlight features six exceptional brands:

Adhere To Studios (Vancouver, BC) – a female-owned outerwear brand offering high-quality, stylish pieces designed for the elements.

Vonhguard (Quebec City, QC) – a contemporary brand with a modern approach to design and craftsmanship, featuring non-gender specific pieces with compelling creative visuals and silhouettes.

Essentiels Co (Montréal, QC) – a womenswear brand offering minimalist and timeless pieces with neutral and soft colours, focused on comfort and femininity. All pieces are designed and made in Quebec in small batches, and produced in safe working conditions.

Ai (Toronto, ON) – a Toronto-based fashion brand that carefully curates and produces vegan handbags and accessories made in small batches.

Ahiri (Toronto, ON) – a Canadian womenswear label elevating wardrobe basics through quality creations that demand attention. All Ahiri items are designed in Toronto to be mixed into your current wardrobe, effortlessly transitioning from season to season, with original pieces using natural fibres as often as possible.

Lesley Hampton (Toronto, ON) – an Indigenous-owned, women-led, size-inclusive clothing, and accessory brand based in Toronto. Lesley Hampton aims to decolonize Euro-centric standards in the fashion industry, inspire the next decade of Indigenous leaders and entrepreneurs, and create space for empowerment and representation in fashion and media.

The Amazon Designer Spotlight is one of the many ways that Amazon continues to support and empower brand owners in Canada. Since 2003, Amazon.ca has made virtual shelf space available to Canada-based third-party sellers, many of which are small- and medium-sized businesses.

All six designer collections will be available for Canadians to shop and discover at amazon.ca/designerspotlight.
