Camellia Sinensis, a Canadian tea company, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The company was founded in 1998 by Hugo Americi, who was inspired by his travels to Europe and Asia. Camellia Sinensis now has three boutiques, a tea school, and a network of nearly 100 artisans. The company offers over 200 different teas, which are sold at its stores, online, and at over 2,000 points of sale worldwide.

Camellia Sinensis has won seven international awards and is considered a benchmark in the tea industry. The company is known for its high-quality teas, its commitment to sustainability, and its educational programs. Camellia Sinensis has also played a leading role in the growing popularity of tea in Canada.

Today, Camellia Sinensis receives and processes nearly 50,000 kilograms of tea from private imports every year. Camellia Sinensis also runs two training schools for hotel and restaurant professionals, regularly publishes tea books, and leads workshops on a variety of subjects. Over 15,000 tea enthusiasts have participated in these workshops.

In addition to its retail and educational programs, Camellia Sinensis also supplies tea to over 500 restaurants around the world.
