49th Parallel Coffee Roasters and Lucky’s Doughnuts opens its first North Vancouver cafe in Lower Lonsdale

Snow-Capped Mountain Doughnut

49th Parallel Coffee Roasters and Lucky’s Doughnuts opens its first North Vancouver cafe in Lower Lonsdale. The new 2,045 square-foot cafe is situated in a beautiful heritage building and the interior design takes inspiration from the original occupant in the early 1900s, a hardware store with repurposed materials.

To celebrate the opening, 49th Parallel released the ‘North Shore’. The single-origin roast tastes of bright red fruit acidity balanced with a deep spice sweetness, giving the coffee a creamy, syrupy mouthfeel.

In addition, Chef Karly Pomes introduced a limited edition Mountain Highway doughnut made with the new North Shore blend, chocolate ganache, topped with pecans and a chocolate-dipped snow-covered marshmallow to represent the North Shore mountains.
