Arc’teryx Climb Academy Returns to Squamish in Support of Local Search & Rescue

Arc’teryx has teamed up with Squamish Search and Rescue for this year’s Climb Academy.
The Academy runs August 21–23 in Squamish. It’s three days of clinics, films, live music, and community hangouts for climbers and trail runners of every level. Clinics are sold out, but daytime programming at Pavilion Park is still open, including a vendor village, free and low-cost seminars, and the new Academy Happy Hour every afternoon.
A portion of clinic registration fees goes straight to Squamish Search and Rescue. These are the volunteers who’ve been responding to calls in the Sea to Sky corridor for more than 50 years. They train constantly, handle technical mountain rescues, swift-water work, and lost-hiker searches, and they do it for free. More than 80 members put in thousands of hours every year so the rest of us can keep exploring the same trails and walls.
