Turo and MICHELIN Drive to Table: A Culinary Road Trip Experience
For the discerning foodie and car enthusiast alike, Turo and the MICHELIN Guide have partnered to create Drive to Table, an exclusive experience that combines the best of both worlds.
Starting October 13, Turo guests in Toronto and Vancouver can book one of the participating vehicles which unlock a unique dining experience at Osteria Giulia or Quetzal in Toronto and Kissa Tanto or St. Lawrence in Vancouver.
In addition to dinner for two, guests will also receive a chef-curated driving itinerary for the day, including tickets to local attractions, and a one-night stay at The Hazelton Hotel in Toronto and Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver.
Two Drive to Table experiences available in Vancouver
Chef Joël Watanabe’s itinerary delivers the best of Vancouver’s natural beauty, starting with a drive to Pacific Spirit Regional Park, where guests can hit the trails for a hike or simply enjoy the stunning scenery. Next, it’s off to Renzullo Market for an Italian lunch break, before continuing to Lynn Canyon Park for another breathtaking outdoor adventure. Guests will return to the city for dinner at Kissa Tanto, where they’ll enjoy a unique and delicious meal that combines the delicate flavours of Japan with the warmth of Italian cooking.
Chef J-C Poirier’s itinerary is perfect for those who want to experience the best of Vancouver’s food and culture. The day starts with a drive to Prospect Point, one of the best viewpoints in the city. From there, guests can head to Kitsilano Beach to relax and soak up some sun and visit Vancouver Bloedel Conservatory to explore the world’s plants and flowers. In the evening, guests will enjoy a delicious dinner at St. Lawrence Restaurant, where they’ll savour Chef J-C’s elevated takes on classic French and Québécois cuisine.
