Genesis Motors Canada Launches Genesis Certified Previously Owned Vehicle Program

Genesis Motors Canada announced the official introduction of Genesis Certified, a previously owned vehicle program that provides guests with an exceptional acquisition and ownership experience.

Applying vital knowledge and experience from its industry leading, non-traditional agency model, Genesis Canada embarks on the first phase of its new approach to the used luxury segment.

Now in its sixth year, Genesis Canada has amassed numerous awards for its rapidly growing portfolio that now includes sedans, SUVs and crossovers. Surpassing the milestone of over 10,000 vehicles sold has provided an opportunity for the brand’s foray into the highly competitive previously owned luxury segment.

The first two Genesis Certified vehicles have already been acquired shortly after the program’s recent launch. Genesis Experience Manager (GXM) Chris Latis assisted guest Omar Alkhatib with the purchase of his 2019 Genesis G70 3.3T from Genesis London, while Genesis de L’Ouest GXM Naim Khalil helped Antoine Fortin with the acquisition of a 2021 Genesis GV80 Advanced 2.5T.

Program Elements

Genesis Certified has been painstakingly curated to provide a straightforward and frictionless premium vehicle purchase. The program includes a comprehensive 191-point inspection, a six-year/120,000km limited powertrain warranty, and a three month SiriusXM satellite radio subscription, along with a CARFAX vehicle history report, 24/7 roadside assistance and travel benefits. Special rates and finance offers are available (Genesis Finance exclusive), as is a 10-day/1,000km vehicle exchange privilege.

Vehicle Eligibility

All vehicles sold through the Genesis Certified program must meet strict eligibility requirements. Each unit must be within six model years of the current model year with less than 120,000km to qualify. They must pass a detailed quality assurance inspection and receive a clean title verified by a CARFAX vehicle history report. They must also meet stringent cosmetic standards.

Genesis Certified warranties can be extended up to 10 years/200,000km, including roadside Assistance and Trip Interruption benefits. Genesis Certified will also soon offer an intuitive online Inventory Search Tool to help guests quickly and easily find the vehicle they’re looking for.
