Bromont’s First-Ever Ski-In/Ski-Out Hotel is Finally Here: Residence Inn by Marriott

If you love skiing in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, you know the feeling of finishing a long day on the slopes. Usually, that means hauling your gear through a parking lot and driving back to your accommodation. But starting January 20, 2026, there is a much better option.

The new Residence Inn by Marriott Bromont is opening right at the base of the mountain. It is the first hotel in the area where you can ski straight to the door.

Located at the foot of Bromont, montagne d’expériences, the hotel puts you just steps away from the lift. The mountain has the most illuminated ski slopes in North America, with 125 trails and 91 slopes lit for night skiing. Whether you are there for the first run of the morning or a late-night session, being this close to the action makes everything easier.

The hotel is designed to feel more like a home than a standard hotel room. It features 134 suites that are perfect for longer stays or family trips. You can choose from studios, one-bedroom suites, or two-bedroom suites. Some of the larger units can sleep up to eight people, which is great for groups of friends or big families.

Every suite comes with a fully equipped kitchen, which is a huge plus. You get a full-sized refrigerator, a cooktop, a dishwasher, and a dining area. This means you can easily make your own breakfast before hitting the trails or enjoy a relaxed meal without leaving your room. The design is inspired by Scandinavian style and uses warm tones and natural materials to create a calm, cozy atmosphere.

When you are done with the cold, there are plenty of ways to warm up. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool and a hot tub that are open year-round, as well as a dry sauna and a fitness center. If you bring your own equipment, you don’t have to worry about cluttering your suite because the hotel offers dedicated storage for skis and bikes.

For food, you don’t need to go far. The on-site restaurant, CABINN, is led by Chef Laurent Godbout. He is well-known for his modern take on Quebec cuisine. The menu focuses on comfort dishes using local ingredients. The restaurant features large windows with mountain views and a heated outdoor terrace. On weekends during ski season, you can expect a lively atmosphere with DJ sets outside.

Travelers from both Canada and the U.S. will find the location very convenient. It is about a one-hour drive from Montreal, three hours from Quebec City, and six hours from Toronto or New York.

Once you arrive, everything you need is close by. If you need lessons or gear, the ski and snowboard school is just steps away. You can even rent equipment directly on-site.

While winter sports are a huge draw, the area has plenty to offer all year. In the warmer months, you can explore over 100 km of mountain bike trails, visit the nearby water park, or check out the local wine route.

Rates start as low as $219 CAD per night, though this depends on the season and the type of suite you choose. Reservations are being accepted for dates starting February 1, 2026.

If you are planning a winter trip to the Eastern Townships, this new spot offers a mix of comfort and convenience that is hard to beat.
