TELUS offers creature comforts for Pokemon trainers

Pursuing Pikachu? Evolving Eevees? Waiting for Weedles? To become the best that ever was, you need power and plenty of it – we’ve got you covered.

TELUS is offering Pokémon GO trainers access to free in-store charging stations at its Kitsilano, Robson Street, Pacific Centre and TELUS Garden locations. You don’t need to be a TELUS customer to take part – just bring in your Pokédex and power up.

While you’re waiting, TELUS learning centre specialists can provide hands-on tips to show trainers how to extend their battery life, how to manage and increase their data plan on the go, and which accessories will be helpful in catching that 1000CP Aerodactyl.

If you’re planning to hit the gym or set off on an all-night marathon, you can stay charged on the hunt: all Mophie charging products are available at up to 20% off in all corporate stores.

In Vancouver, players will want to use the free Wi-Fi at Olympic Village and Queen Elizabeth Park; both are Triple Lure Pokéstops – with the former location reporting multiple Dratini sightings!

Catch ‘em all – for free! Check out the TELUS Wi-Fi Finder – the app is available on iTunes, the Google Play store and online at https://wififinder.telus.com – to locate more than 10,000 free #TELUS Wi-Fi hotspots across BC and Alberta, which are open to TELUS and non-TELUS customers.
