Vancouver’s last porn theatre Fox Cinema to become live music venue & art space
Tom Anselmi, Ernesto Gomez, Danny Fazio, David Duprey and Rachel Zottenberg the people behind the Waldorf Productions and the Rickshaw Theatre have teamed up to transform Vancouver’s last remaining porn theater the Fox Cinema into a live music venue and art space.
The team have signed a five-year lease on the Fox Cinema on Main Street and will take possession of the 37-year-old building on August 1.
The name of the venue will change from Fox Cinema into Fox Cabaret.
The new tenants are in the process of securing a liquor license. The major renovation will begin this summer and hopes to open the new venue in the fall.
