Vancouver Canucks sign Tom Sestito to a two-year deal
Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have signed left wing Tom Sestito to a two-year deal.
Sestito, 25, has appeared in 23 games with Vancouver, recording a goal and 53 penalty minutes. The 6’5†left wing also dressed for the Philadelphia Flyers in 2012.13. In seven games with Philadelphia, he collected two goals, including one game-winner, and added 12 penalty minutes.
The Rome, New York, native has collected eight points (5-3-8) and 212 penalty minutes in 57 games played with the Canucks, Flyers and Columbus Blue Jackets.
The 228-pound forward was originally selected by Columbus in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
