Now when you get the Greek God yogurt – what can you do with it? Check out these Healthy twists to Halloween party treats by Heather McTavish, vice president of marketing, for Hain-Celestial Canada, the company behind The Greek Godsâ„¢ yogurt:
A festive smoothie
Smoothies are a great way to start the morning. Instead of the traditional fruit smoothie, consider making a pumpkin smoothie using canned pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. To make the smoothie extra creamy try adding Greek Gods, Vanilla Honey yogurt.
Spooky Gooey Cauldron’s
A good way to excite kids about eating healthy is by adding ghoulish colours to familiar food. Consider cutting a melon in half and filling it with yogurt that has been dyed with green or orange food colouring. This will create a spooky gooey cauldron for kids of all ages to enjoy.
Veggie Skeleton
Fun shapes are always a great way to get kids’ attention. Luckily, veggies come in many shapes and sizes so they make the perfect building blocks for the bones of a skeleton. Kids won’t be able to resist eating “bones†for a snack!
Get Seedy
After carving your Halloween pumpkin, be sure to keep the seeds! Seeds can be roasted in a hot oven with a little salt and olive oil. Pack in your child’s lunch box for a fun Halloween treat.
