The Vancouver Rape Relief & Women’s Shelter is Canada’s oldest Rape Crisis Centre and provides a safe sanctuary for women and children escaping violence. The shelter equips women with the support, information and tools they need to make a change in their lives. The Vancouver Rape Relief & Women’s Shelter plays a crucial role in the safety of victims and yet, the shelter does not receive government funding.
