CREA Launches Android App for REALTOR.ca – Metro Vancouver Real Estate News

Android has joined the family of REALTOR.ca apps. Get all the features of REALTOR.ca on your smartphone!

REALTOR.ca is a free app offered by The Canadian Real Estate Association. It allows users to search for homes and property across Canada and to connect with REALTORS® for more detailed information. The app will even connect you
with a REALTOR to view, buy or sell a property.

REALTOR.ca is the most visited real estate website in Canada. The app will provide consumers with the same functionality and detail they get from REALTOR.ca while taking advantage of Android device features such as GPS.
This app puts the functionality of REALTOR.ca in the palm of your hand. It uses your handlheld’s GPS capabilities to provide search results near your location,whether you’re walking your neighbourhood, out for a Sunday drive, or
comparison shopping in a new part of town. Newly listed properties, open houses with photos, and driving directions are all at your fingertips. Interactive BING mapping is embedded to help you find properties in a specific
area.

Using the handheld’s GPS technology:

Using the handheld’s built-in GPS, get up-to-date property information, photos and driving directions for properties near your location. You can also find recent listings in the area you’re visiting, and if it’s a weekend, find Open Houses near your present location.

My Agent

This function allows you to contact either your agent(s), or the listing agent, for more information about a specific property. The agent can also be added to your device’s contacts list.

Property Search

Just like the REALTOR.ca website, you can search for houses and properties anywhere in Canada.

Driving Directions

This allows you to get driving directions to a listed property either by entering an address, or from your current location by using the device’s GPS functionality.
