With one of the largest in-house industrial smokers in the city, The Yale Saloon specialize in slow smoked meats with homemade rubs and vinegar-based sauces. Other fresh fare is available for those looking for something lighter, with the likes of lettuce wraps and tacos, and casual sides like classic corn bread and coleslaw to complete a meal.
Many know the Yale from its iconic life as a blues bar. While blues will still remain at the heart of The Yale Saloon, jazz, karaoke, and other live music will be featured throughout the week. On weekend nights top hits with a mix of country and classic rock will make this a place to let your hair down. On weekends guests will want to saddle up for a down-home country brunch and speaking of saddles, Thursday nights will see a lively mechanical bull take centre stage.
Designed with a nod to saloon flare, guests will find themselves surrounded by a completely renovated interior that incorporates contemporary and country-inspired interior décor. Brick walls frame the dining area, which is hung with string lights for an outdoorsy vibe, and cow (yes, cow!) print carpet spreads the dining area for an authentic country feel. Two bars bookend the saloon, leaving generous square footage for high top tables, a late-night dance floor, and live bands.
