Clear Vision for DTES Residents this World Sight Day

According to World Health Organization, 285 million people are visually impaired worldwide and of these, 80 per cent of cases could be avoided or cured with better access to vision care. In partnership with Union Gospel Mission, local Vancouver company Clearly will next offer sight tests, reading glasses, prescription glasses and UV protective sunglasses to residents living in the DTES on Thursday, October 8th at 9am – 361 Heatley Avenue.

To date, Change the View has provided vision care to 550,000 people both globally and locally.
