BC’s New Home Buyer’s Bonus of up to $10,000 ends March 31, 2013

Until March 31, 2013, qualifying first-time buyers are eligible for a $10,000 grant from the BC Government under the New Home Buyer’s Bonus program.

This is a one-time grant equal to 5% of the purchase price of the home, or if a first-time buyer is building a new home, 5% of the land and construction costs, up to $10,000.

This program ends March 31, 2013, so if you are thinking of buying a new home, now is the time to act to qualify for the bonus.
