Converse Debuts The Auckland Modern Inspired By The Brand’s Running Legacy

Hot off the heels of the Converse All Star Modern launch last month, Converse unveils the next drop from Converse Modern Footwear with the debut of the Converse Auckland Modern. The Auckland Modern is a new sihouette inspired by Converse’s rich legacy in running innovation – rooted in the brand’s partnerships with elite athletes and coaches during the 1970s and ‘80s. The Converse Auckland Modern collection features a split knit upper for lightweight comfort and a secure fit, in addition to Nike Hyperfuse construction for durability and support. The sneaker is underpinned by a Phylon outsole for lightweight cushioning and comfort with flex grooves for mobility. Each of these aspects provides updates for today’s active lifestyle consumer, while still recognizing Converse’s rich heritage in sports.
