Levi’s x Kiko Kostadinov: Denim Stamped with Stories

The highly anticipated second collaboration between Levi’s and London’s avant-garde designer Kiko Kostadinov is here, and it’s a five-piece women’s capsule that beautifully blends the past with a forward-thinking vision. Designed by the talented sisters Laura and Deanna Fanning, who lead the Kiko Kostadinov studio, this collection reinterprets classic denim silhouettes in unexpected ways.
This time around, inspiration comes from the whimsical world of vintage postal stamps. Each design nods to the artistry and storytelling once carried across letters and packages. The collection incorporates original stamp-inspired artwork that evokes nostalgia while feeling distinctly modern. In one playful detail, Laura and Deanna included an illustration of their dog, Dante—an intimate little “Easter egg” tucked into the graphics.
The collection, which first made its debut on the runway of Kiko Kostadinov’s SS25 show at Paris Fashion Week, showcases a thoughtful approach to design and narrative. As Laura and Deanna Fanning shared, they are “interested in how transit, both physical and emotional, leaves an imprint.” To them, clothing can act like a memory, much like stamps worn into denim.
Here’s a closer look at some of the eye-catching pieces:
The Carina Waisted Jacket
The standout piece is undoubtedly the Levi’s x Kiko Kostadinov Carina Waisted Jacket. It comes in a captivating Postal Stamp Print across light wash indigo non-stretch denim, making it a true statement item. Look closely, and you’ll notice sculptural details like back elbow darts that add volume to the sleeves, along with industrial-inspired stainless steel zippers and snap closures. A godet detail at the zipper cuff adds a touch of technical precision, and the jacket is completed with a coordinating belt. For those who prefer a more understated look, there’s also a light indigo wash version that maintains the same sophisticated construction, but with subtle tinted placements that create unique variations across the denim.
The Carina Flared Jean
To complete a head-to-toe printed look, the Levi’s x Kiko Kostadinov Carina Flared Jean features the same postal stamp artwork on light indigo non-stretch denim. A standout detail on these jeans is the godet zipper at the hem. When unzipped, it opens to create a looser, flared silhouette that instantly changes the fit and overall feel of the garment. Other carefully considered details include double side pocket entries, center front snaps at the waistband, an exposed rivet, a zippered back pocket, and trapunto stitching at the back waistband, ensuring each pair feels unique. A light indigo wash option is also available, offering the same smart construction in a cleaner finish.
The Carina Apron Short
Rounding out the collection is the Levi’s x Kiko Kostadinov Carina Apron Short. This innovative piece reimagines the classic skort with a futuristic edge. It’s an A-line skort with baggy shorts underneath, falling just beneath the knee. Five snap closures on the waistband allow for a customizable fit, and side pockets offer entry through subtle slit openings. The non-detachable skirt component adds dynamic movement, presented in light indigo non-stretch denim with specific tinted placements and a front zipper opening.
This second collaboration between Levi’s and Kiko Kostadinov, led by Laura and Deanna Fanning, continues to explore fashion as a form of communication and memory. They have transformed everyday denim into something more personal and meaningful.
The collection launches worldwide on September 12th and will be available on Levi.com, the Levi’s App, and in select Levi’s, Kiko Kostadinov, and partner stores.
