Cadillac Fairview introduces new Digital Gift Card for Apple Pay and Google Pay

Cadillac Fairview (CF) unveiled the digitization of the CF SHOP! card, in partnership with Mastercard Canada and EML Payments.

The new CF SHOP! Mastercard Gift Card, available through the LiVE by CF app, is the first to market digital gift card program from a leading property and retail group and provides Canadians from coast-to-coast the ability to buy and receive digital CF gift cards for friends and family. Digital gift cards can be used at all 18 CF mall properties across the country, including those in British Columbia.

This single-load prepaid card is available for use with leading digital mobile wallets including Apple Pay and Google Pay for a safe, secure and contactless payment experience at all CF shopping centres.

The direct-to-consumer offering further meets the needs of Canadians who are seeking innovative solutions and enhancement to their shopping experience.

CF’s loyal shoppers and guests will have the ability to transform any connected mobile device into a commerce device to make and/or receive payments, making it easier and more convenient than ever for Canadians to gift and spend at CF’s shopping centres.

Shoppers will continue to have the option to link physical CF gift cards to the app for easy access to card balances.

The digital-only CF SHOP! Mastercard Gift Card also provides shoppers with a more sustainable gifting option avoiding the use of plastic and can be sent by email.
