Grand Opening of second Vancouver studio on April 11 will showcase Dailey Cycle
The Dailey Method is celebrating the Grand Opening of its second studio in Vancouver on Saturday April 11. The studio offers Dailey Cycle, a hybrid class of spinning, plus the studio’s signature barre-based stretching workout.
Dailey Cycle is an all-new fitness offering in Vancouver.
Dailey Method Vancouver owners Jey and Karen Wyder throw open the doors of the studio, located in the city’s fitness mecca of Kitsilano, from 8 am to 5 pm on April 11.
They’ll offer free classes to the public all day to celebrate the expansion of the studio they brought to Vancouver five years ago.
There will be prizes, refreshments and studio tours.
The centrepiece of the day will be the latest Dailey Method offering –Dailey Cycle. You spend 30 minutes on a high-performance bicycle, followed by 30 minutes of upper-body toning, core strengthening and stretching. With the Dailey Method’s focus on alignment and form, this class delivers a balanced, full-body workout.
“It’s Vancouver’s first combination of a cycle and barre,†says Karen Wyder. Adds Jey Wyder: “It’s non-impact and an intense, efficient calorie burn.â€
The studio is on 1735 West 4th Avenue, east of Burrard Street on the north side, upper level.
