Tim Hortons Encourages Everyday Acts of Kindness to Support Local Youth
Tim Hortons is using social media to make it easy for Canadians to give back this holiday season. Beginning now through until the end of December, guests can share their good deeds and acts of kindness on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #WarmWishes and tag @timhortons to support the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. Tim Hortons will donate $1 to the THCF for each social share to help send youth from low-income families to summer camp. In addition, guests can also sign a snowflake for $1 at their local Tims and all proceeds will go directly to the Foundation.
Good deeds have already started in Canada, with Grade 7 and 8 students at Henry Munro Middle School in Ottawa volunteering their time at a local shelter as part of the THCF Community Leaders Program. Guests can visit www.TimHortons.com/WarmWishes to watch and share this holiday surprise!
