Starbucks new summer menu: Protein Bowl and Certified Vegan options

This week, Starbucks launched their new summer menu with delicious, protein bowls, wraps and vegan options.

I’m always searching for healthy lunch to go. I recently tried the Chicken & Quinoa Protein Bowl with Chile Vinaigrette. It’s grilled chicken, raised without antibiotics, mixed with fresh greens, crisp tomatoes, roasted corn, black beans, jicama, paprika, and topped with feta cheese and medium-spiced chile vinaigrette. It was delicious and packed with flavours with a kick of chile.

Each bowl has 20 grams of protein and 1 serving vegetables.

The other new lunch items are:

Baby Greens and Brown Rice Protein Bowl with Toasted Sesame Dressing includes edamame, red cabbage, beets, sliced apples, red peppers, and sunflower seeds for that extra bit of crunch. Starbuck’s first certified vegan dish.

Butter Chicken Wrap with Jasmine Rice with Tandoori chicken, masala, cabbage, carrot and mint chutney wrapped in piadina.
