Playa Patrón Brunch Experience in Vancouver

Patrón Tequila transformed Concord Pacific lot into an exclusive pop-up beach club, sand and all. We were invited to Playa Patrón brunch experience. The Tulum-inspired menu was curated by Chef Cesar Castañeda of NÜ Tulum.

3-course Mexican brunch with tequila cocktail pairing:

The first course was Shrimp & Passion Fruit Aguachile, a twist on Mexico’s own version of ceviche. It was paired with Classic Patrón Paloma which perfectly balanced the fresh citrus flavours of aguachile.

The second course was Xcatic Chili Taco Trio, tacos with beef, chicken and potatoes al ajillo fillings. It was paired with Daisy 75, an effervescent interpretation of the classic Margarita.

For dessert, we got Marquesita, a vanilla crepe with bitter chocolate, mango & agave puree, orange & clove salsa and fresh strawberries & kiwi. It was paired with Los Altos Colada, a tribute to the agave fields of Jalisco where Patrón is harvested.
