Commune Cafe Revamps Menu, Hours, and Restaurant
You’ve probably mowed down Really Good Pancakes and Huevos Rancheros on Commune Cafe’s patio before. But after three years as a Yaletown daytime fixture, things are about to change.
Don’t worry, you can still enjoy feasting at brunch, but now one of Vancouver’s top sustainable restaurants has revamped their menu to include 50 international and local craft beers, each with a hops rating to help guide your way through the brews. While the food menu still has your favourite a.m. feasts, there are small plates and entrees with locally sourced ingredients that are designed to compliment the beer list.
“We wanted to ensure our menu was affordable and catered to how Vancouverites like to dine,” says Amir Samei, co-owner of Commune Cafe. “They love to share, taste, and sample each other’s plates; it creates discussion around the food.”
Rain or shine, the patio is open all year long, and now with a comfortable lounge area to sit back and people watch with a nice cold one.
All tasting plates are between $7-10, and our build-your-own mains range from $14-20.
Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options available.
