Roger Federer and Michael Jordan on the New Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour

What happens when two of the greatest athletes of all time end up in a room to talk about sneakers? Well, Nike wanted to know just that, so in honor of U.S. Open and the release of the new Jordan III-inspired Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour sneaker, the label put Roger Federer and his Airness together to discuss the new style. As MJ explains, he not only wanted the new Vapor 9 to look cool (which it does), but to be functional for Roger as he wears it in his pursuit of another major win. They also touch on legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, who Jordan affectionately labels “a total pain in the ass”.
