Ubisoft annouces the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Tournament is coming to Richmond
Ubisoft announced new dates for its Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Canada Tournament, a national competition that will visit four Canadian cities and see teams battle for the highest score in Rainbow Six Siege matches. Kicking off in Montreal on August 26 before visiting Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, each city’s top scorers will move on to compete in the Rainbow Six Siege Canada Tournament Finals in Toronto in November. The last standing team will be crowned Canadian grand champion, and will win a Ubisoft prize pack as well as a $5,000 grand prize.
“We’re excited to bring this Rainbow Six Siege tournament to Canada for the first time, and look forward to revealing the best gamer teams in the country,†said Lucile Bousquet, Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications, Ubisoft Canada. “Our objective is to bring our community together in a fun and competitive experience, to have them play our games and engage them with our brand. We’re always interested in getting gamers’ feedback, whether it’s during the tournament or through the open beta available in September.“
