Rogers Santa Claus Parade – December 4, 2016
On Sunday December 4th, Rogers Santa Claus Parade will attract over 300,000 spectators with marching bands, dance troupes, festive floats, choirs, and community groups. Greater Vancouver will come together to celebrate the anticipation of Santa’s big arrival. The free, family-fun event is filled with music, entertainment, dancing, costumes, hot chocolate, and other festivities!
Starting at Georgia and Broughton, the parade travels east on Georgia, turns south on Howe, and finishes at Howe and Smithe (approximately 1.4km). It is the biggest Winter parade in Western Canada, and has become the official west coast kickoff of the Christmas season.
