Rick Hansen lights the Vancouver 50-foot Christmas Tree at the Jack Poole Plaza at the Vancouver Convention Centre on Friday, December 9, 2011. The fifth annual Vancouver Tree Lighting is the largest tree lighting ceremony in Western Canada. Performers include Aliqua, the Vancouver’s Children’s Choir, Christmas soloists and special guest appearances by the BC Lions along with the Felions and Bro Jake from Rock 101.
