Pink Shirt Day focuses on ending bullying – February 29, 2012

Anyone who has ever been targeted by another, whether with words on the playground, whispers behind their back, or a harsh comment on their Facebook page, knows that bullying hurts.

Wednesday February 29, 2012 is Pink Shirt Day, where everyone is encouraged to wear pink to raise awareness about the issue of bullying, and arm everyone with the tools to stand up to it – whether they are the ones being targeted or they see it happening.

In Richmond students gathered at Aberdeen Centre and performed a dance to ‘Without You’ by David Guetta and Usher.
