The 2013 Vancouver International Auto Show drives into the Vancouver Convention Centre today at noon and runs until Sunday, March 31. British Columbia’s premiere annual auto industry event will give visitors the opportunity to see the latest in automotive art, design and technology.
This year’s exciting new feature is the ‘Green Ride and Drive’ experience staged in front of the Convention Centre. Guests will have the opportunity to test-drive some of the world’s leading eco-friendly vehicles from top manufacturers including Ford, Nissan, GM, Toyota, Lexus and more.
The Exotics showcase will feature a collection of cars worth millions of dollars. McLaren will make its first appearance ever at the Vancouver International Auto Show with a $340,000 McLaren MP4-12C Spider. McLaren will join high-profile names such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Lotus, Ferrari and Maserati to create an exhibit that car enthusiasts can only dream about.
Other specialty features include Classic Alley, a tribute to our shared automotive history; the Clean Energy Vehicle Showcase, celebrating the latest green vehicles and environmentally friendly technology; and the Red Line Stage, offering special guest speakers and events.
