Mid-Autumn Moon Celebration at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden on September 30, 2012
Festival of Reunion!
Celebrate the annual Mid Autumn Moon Festival with festivities and activities for all ages. The Mid Autumn Moon Festival (along with Chinese New Year) is one of the most important holidays in the Chinese calendar. It is a festival that traditionally brings families and friends come together to honour the full Harvest Moon, share stories, play games and eat delicious mooncakes!
Bring a copy of photograph or artifact to share a Mid Autumn story or tradition from your own family’s reunion on the Story Board. This is a day to prepare you and your family for an evening of full moon gazing!
