McArthurGlen Vancouver Transforms into a Winter Wonderland
McArthurGlen Vancouver is bringing its elegant 45-foot Christmas tree back for their annual Sparkle Brighter holiday celebrations on November 24 th . Along with one of Lower Mainland’s biggest trees, the centre will be decked out in holiday decorations including giant Nutcrackers. The free and public event will encourage guests to embrace the holiday spirit with various family-friendly activities such as gingerbread decorating, ornament making, live carolling, and lighting of the Christmas tree with help from special guests from the North Pole.
To help shoppers get a head start on their holiday shopping, the centre will be offering a sneak peak of their door-crashing Black Friday sales a day.
Bringing even more excitement to the centre, new brands, UGG and Michael Kors will also be opening their doors for Black Friday, with Michael Kors offering 40 per cent off everything in store and an additional 10 per cent off for the first 250 shoppers Black Friday morning when the centre opens 2 hours early, at 8am.
“We’re thrilled to be transforming our centre into a winter wonderland for the second year and hosting one of the biggest sales of the year as the only true outlet centre in the Lower Mainland,†says Robert Thurlow, General Manager of McArthurGlen Vancouver. “Not only will there be fun, festive activities for guests and their families, shoppers will also be delighted with over 60 brands offering even deeper discounts for the Black Friday weekend.â€
All festivities for the evening will be available free of charge for guests of the centre and the general public.

– 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Toy Soldiers live Christmas Music
– 7:00 p.m. – Christmas Tree lighting with special guests from the North Pole
– 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – Live carolling with Vancouver Peace Choir
