Latincouver presents Latin America House – opening game with Vancouver Whitecaps FC

Come join Latincouver and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, this Thursday (June 12th), at a special “Kickoff the Kickoff,” event featuring live Brazilian music and entertainment by DJ Isreael K-JU, Rio Beat and Samba Carnaval dancers! Win tickets to Vancouver Whitecaps games and football swag!

The event will open at 12pm with Brazil vs Croatia kicking off at 1pm. The opening event will be hosted at Latin America House at Edgewater Casino, 750 South Pacific Boulevard, Downtown Vancouver. Latin American countries in the World Cup: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Uruguay and all nationalities are welcome at the House.

Latin America House will be the place to experience a football fiesta and stadium atmosphere – viewing parties for almost every match, with the games being played on three 18ft high definition screens with a capacity of 420 people. Each match will feature drink specials – Coronas $4.00, LIIT,$3.50, Hot Dogs $2.50 – and the chance to win prizes throughout the World Cup tournament. The venue is transit accessible from Stadium Station, and it offers free parking. So that you can enjoy the festivities there will be complimentary Edgewater shuttle service an hour before the game at Broadway & Commercial (Commercial Street bus stop) and *Homer & Robson (Next to the Vancouver Library on Homer Street).
