Bobs & Lolo at Fingerling Festival in Port Moody

Award Winning Canadian musicians Bobs & Lolo bring play Fingerling Festival presented by the Port Moody Ecological Society Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 11am – 3pm.

Over 5000 people will gather this Saturday to help release close to 40,000 young chum salmon into Noons Creek to help these fish begin their four-year journey to sea. This fun, FREE environmental festival at the Noons Creek Hatchery in Port Moody is the largest of its kind. Visitors can also visit the hatchery with its fish-rearing pond and restored wetland. In the adjacent Port Moody Arena, over 70 organizations provide opportunities to learn more about community initiatives and environmental stewardship.

Bobs & LoLo will deliver two performances at 11:30am and 1:00pm, which will include their popular song Run Salmon Run, which has just become an app that includes curriculum-based factoids from the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans primary level educational programs and children are able to expand their knowledge as well as enjoy vibrant visuals, dynamic and musical storytelling and interactive elements.

When: Saturday May 6th, 11am – 3pm
Where: Noons Creek Hatchery, 340 Ioco Road, Port Moody
