A Cozy Dome, Good Coffee, and Après Energy: Lavazza Hits Whistler

If you’re heading to Whistler this weekend for the World Ski & Snowboard Festival, there’s a fun pop-up worth checking out right in Village Square.
Lavazza has set up Luigi’s Caffè Cave inside an igloo-shaped dome. Inside, you’ll find a cozy, chalet-style café with an après-ski vibe. Think warm lights, live DJ, and a quick escape from the festival buzz.
Grab a proper espresso, an americano, or their signature mocktail espresso martini. It features freshly brewed espresso shaken with vanilla simple syrup and coconut cream, poured over ice, and finished with a few coffee beans.
Lavazza based the pop-up on their character Luigi, a curious little robot from their ads who chases the simple joy of a good coffee. The goal is to bring a slice of Italian coffee culture to Whistler’s après-ski scene, where people gather, chat, and unwind.
The café is open to everyone. It runs today through Sunday:
Friday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
You’ll find it in Village Square at 4295 Blackcomb Way. Just look for the dome.
If you’re already in Whistler soaking up the festival energy, swing by for a coffee or a creamy mocktail. It’s an easy way to pause, warm up, and enjoy a taste of Italy right in the middle of the action.
