2012 Road Hockey To Conquer Cancer Vancouver
Last year Toronto broke records in the fight against cancer at their first ever Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer event. This year it’s Vancouver’s turn. Join die-hard hockey fans and cancer fighters at the launch event this Friday and help bring British Columbians in on the game.
WHO: Canucks alumni Darcy Rota, Vancouver Firefighters, local celebrities, cancer survivors and any BC hockey fan who wants to be a game changer in the fight against cancer.
WHAT: A pick-up road hockey game and a moving testimonial by a cancer survivor. The public are invited to cheer the players with towel power.
WHEN: Friday, February 17, 2012, 12:00 pm program start, 12:05 pm GAME ON!
WHERE: Outside Rogers Arena at the Roger Neilson Memorial, North Plaza (Expo Blvd and Abbott Street)
