Making craft shows FUN!

It’s the time of year when you nally have an excuse to buy some fun, new spring gear to brighten up your wardrobe and home. Why not support some friendly crafty folks while doing it? Make It Vancouver is the place to be April 20-22 because it is going to be hoppin’ with over 110 of the coolest artisans and designers from across Canada. By the way, Make It is also the only craft show where you can drink a beer and listen to some great live music. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon!

Etsy + Make It = Handmade Awesomeness!

Some exciting news! Make It is partnering with crafty juggernaut Etsy. We are super pumped to be the only Canadian show that will feature an Etsy booth where shoppers and aspiring crafters can meet some of the rad peeps behind their favorite website.

Yuki Nickolichuk: honeycanada.com

honey canada is my place to share the things I’m doing and display the things I’m making. I have always been interested in dierent arts and crafts and I decided it would be fun to share them with others. I have been creating since I was a young girl, and have always loved the process of the idea to the nal creation.

Marni Burton: marnieburton.ca

My jewellery is constructed with a modern design sensibility. I have always liked creating three dimensional objects. Each piece becomes a miniature sculpture on my workbench. I am inuenced bythe aesthetic of other cultures, by modern art and architectural structure.

Brittany Junek: metiergoods.com

All Métier items are designed and crafted in Vancouver, British Columbia. I make each item one-by-one, entirely by hand. Every detail is carefully considered, from leather and hardware selection, to dimensions and the exact number of stitches, all coming together to create a simple, well-made and usable item

Eric Whitehead: untamedfeast.com

Untamed Feast is a Vancouver Island based company committed to the celebration of wild, gourmet mushrooms. British Columbia has some of the most desired wild mushrooms in the world. We believe it’s time for you to experience this ne food in your own kitchen.

Tickets: $5 at the door (kids under 12 are free!)
