2012 Luxury Supercar & Concours d’Elegance Weekend at VanDusen Botanical Garden – September 8 & 9, 2012

For the third time in Canada this lifestyle weekend is the Nation’s finest two day outdoor showing of Luxury & Supercars. The 2012 event once again offers a unique up-close and personal opportunity to view the world’s most important examples of automotive achievements.

Each car on display is hand-picked by the Concours d‘Elegance selection committee. Automotive enthusiasts of rare luxury supercars, vintage collectibles, electric/hybrid and concept cars will get the chance to view automobiles that are normally displayed only at select elite international automotive events.

The center of the event takes place on the manicured Great Lawn of VanDusen Botanical Garden, offering the perfect backdrop for a ‘Garden Party’ atmosphere. With a high profile guest list and entertainment to suit upscale tastes, The Luxury & Supercar Concours d’Elegance is the most anticipated automotive, lifestyle and fashion event on the Metro-Vancouver social calendar.

You will be able to preview new 2013 models and classic collectibles from MercedesBenz, BMW, Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Bentley, Aston Martin, Porsche, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Alfa Romeo, Fisker, Tesla, Spyker, Lexus, Cadillac, Lincoln and Bugatti.

This year, Luxury Supercar & Concours d’Elegance Weekend is doubling in size to include modern + classic motorcycles, as well as luxury boats, private jet helicopters and Vancouver’s largest outdoor designer fashion stage.

You will enjoy fashion shows presented by Mercedes-Benz, featuring fall looks from Blumarine, Etro, Gianni Brun, Giambattista Valli, Issey Miyake, John Varvatos, M & F Girbaud, MaxMara, Missoni, Moncler, Neil Barrett, Pal Zileri, Thomas Wyle, Valentino, Jacqueline Conoir, JAC and Malene Grotrian.

The Weekend culminates in the “Shaughnessy Concours d’Elegance,” awarding trophies to the Best In Class, including: The 50 years of James Bond Cars, Classic Supercars, Alfa Romeo, 60th Anniversary of Porsche in North America, 50 years of Shelby Cars, BMW, 100 years on Aston Martin and Italian Superbikes. Luxury Supercar & Concours d’Elegance Weekend will host a select group of race car drivers, professional athletes and celebrities. In fact, last year, Luxury Supercar Weekend was featured on Slice TV’s, The Real Housewives of Vancouver.
