18th Annual Mount Pleasant Harvest Festival & Block Party – September 29, 2012
Enjoy local music, food and art, outdoors on Prince Albert’s Street, as well as a variety of activities inside Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House like games, silent auction, workshops and raffles.
Admission is free and all ages are welcome!
2 stages, 1 giant outdoor BBQ and lots to see and do, this is not an event to be missed.
Featuring live music by:
Rumba Calzada – A Juno Nominated Latin explosion featuring original and classic Latin Jazz & Salsa music.
Cris Derksen – Award-winning Aboriginal cellist is known for building layers of sound into captivating performances
Heads Hang Heavy – Combining the roots of Reggae, the meatiness of the Blues, and a splash of Ska.
Sangre Morena – A duo that performs Latin American and Spanish music, with the voice of Elsa Rojas Marquez and the guitar of Jose Gimenez.
