The Vancouver Asian Film Festival Society (VAFF) is a not-for-profit organization that provides a forum for independent North American Asian filmmakers to showcase their work to both Asian and non-Asian audiences.

To celebrate, we’re throwing a free multi-room Halloween party that will showcase the entire complex including our newly renovated hotel rooms and lobby, two dining areas, a freshly restored 1950s tiki bar and both nightclub and banquet spaces (the Cabaret and the Leeteg Room).

Grouse Grind: Grind For Kids

Grind For Kids is a new event that leverages the enthusiasm of the thousands of people in the Lower Mainland that do the Grouse Grindâ„¢ on a regular basis. People sign up and ask friends, family and co-workers pledge $1 or more for every Grouse Grind they do between June and October. At the end of the season participants will share their success with the people who have pledged them and request they fulfill their pledges.

Come celebrate berry history at the 15th Annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival on Saturday, October 9th. The fun starts at 9 am with a pancake breakfast and continues right through the day with activities for the whole family. There are contests, live music on the Main Stage, cooking demos, a fashion show and much more! Don’t forget to stroll down to the Bedford Channel to watch The Fort Langley Canoe Club races
