2018 Lexus LS 500h at Vancouver International Auto Show
The all new 2018 Lexus LS 500h made its North American debut at the Vancouver International Auto Show. This fifth generation model has been completely reimagined with an all new ultra rigid platform and Lexus Multi Stage Hybrid System.
The LS 500h hybrid powertrain combines a 3.5 liter V6 Dual VVT-i engine with two electric motors that produced a total of 354 horsepower. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds.
The LS 500h is built on the new Lexus Global Architecture – Luxury (GA-L) platform, which is shared with the all-new LC. This platform ensures a low center of gravity, optimum weight distribution, enhanced handling performance and the supreme comfort.
The interior is inspired by Japanese Shimamoku wood patterns and bold contrasts of light and dark wood grain. The new seating designs offer the most generous legroom of any LS generation and available heating, cooling and massage features for front and rear occupants.
