AccorHotels to open a new Novotel in Mexico City

​AccorHotels announced the upcoming groundbreaking of Novotel Mexico City Insurgentes (WTC.) Construction will begin during the second half of 2018 and the property is scheduled to open in 2020.

The new hotel will be situated in front of the World Trade Center Mexico City (WTC), one of the most significant business areas in Mexico City, which welcomes approximately four million visitors a year, and hosts more than a thousand national and international events annually, ranging from conventions to seminars and workshops.

Novotel Mexico City Insurgentes (WTC) will be the second Novotel hotel in Mexico City and the third in the country, elevating the Group’s presence in the region with more than 20 hotels countrywide. The property will feature 106 rooms and showcase the services, experiences and amenities that the Novotel brand is known for, including innovation, design, wellbeing and functionality.

The hotel will feature a GourmetBar, a contemporary and pleasant environment where guests can enjoy a drink, grab a bite to eat or catch up on work at any time of the day. A welcoming space where business and leisure travelers can socialize with friends, family and colleagues, GourmetBar will offer local and international cuisine in a relaxed setting that features a French sensibility.

The hotel will also house a Meet N Work space, which will showcase a comfortable and fresh design, ideal for working or holding meetings. With modular work spaces, travelers who need to work remotely with privacy can perform their tasks with ease. Guests will also have access to light refreshments, computer equipment and Wi-Fi connection on a complimentary basis.
