Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson is not a fan of the seven foot tall Main Street poodle.

The poodle sits on a 25 foot pole at Main Street and 18th Avenue was installed by Vancouver’s public art program in January. The poodle project cost $97,600 covered by the city, federal government and TransLink.

The Mayor has tweeted: “Definitely not a fan of the Main St. poodle but public art is important and at times provocative!”
