La Taqueria Celebrates National Taco Day With 2-For-1 Tacos and Scavenger Hunt, October 4th


La Taqueria is celebrating National Taco Day on October 4th with 2-for-1 tacos at all locations during Happy Hour, from 3pm-6pm. In addition to the 2-for-1 taco pricing, La Taqueria will host a taco-themed scavenger hunt on October 4th. Prize packs hidden in Vancouver and Victoria will include a gift certificate valid for use at any La Taqueria location. Clues about the various hiding spots will be shared on La Taqueria’s Instagram page through the day at @LaTaqueria, and those on the hunt should start searching at 11am, until all prizes are found or by 6pm.

Of La Taqueria’s menu, four meat tacos and four vegetarian tacos are available at the 2-for-1 price, including the authentic Mexican Carnitas, a pork confit taco topped with pickled onion, the Tinga de Pollo, a chicken and chorizo filling cooked in chipotle tomato sauce, topped with Mexican cheese and sour cream, and the Rajas Con Crema, made with roasted poblano peppers with creamed corn, sour cream and Mexican cheese. Regular Happy Hour drink features of $4 Tequila Margaritas and $5 Mezcal Margaritas will be on offer as usual at La Taqueria Hastings, Cambie, Hornby and Victoria.

he taco-themed prizes will be hidden near La Taqueria’s five locations: Hornby (586 Hornby St.), Cambie (2549 Cambie St.), Hastings (322 W. Hastings St.), North Van (1305 Welch St.), and Victoria, BC (766 Fort St.). From 3pm-6pm on October 4th, all locations will offer the 2-for-1 taco special, which includes all tacos listed below.
