On August 18, 2012, we’ll be running in Color Me Rad. The most fun 5 kilometers of your life!
When Zoloft and balloon animals can’t seem to raise your spirits, the best way to brighten your life is to run Color Me Rad 5K.
Historically, running has only been acceptable when trying to escape the law, personal responsibility, the truth, and grizzly bears.
Instead of running FROM something, get ready to run FOR something at this year’s Color Me Rad. Run for the Hell of it.
This is not a timed event, it’s a fun event! Never run before? That’s ok! We’ll have a few practice runs leading up to the race.
Funds from the race also go to the official Charity Partner of the race, Keep A Breast Foundation Canada. Talk about multi-tasking.
Keep A Breast Canada is a registered Canadian charity. We aim to educate young women & men about breast cancer prevention. Our mission is to help eradicate breast cancer by exposing young people to methods of prevention, early detection and support. Through art events, educational programs and fundraising efforts, we seek to increase breast cancer awareness among young people so they are better equipped to make choices and develop habits that will benefit their long-term health and well-being.
Keep A Breast Canada was founded in Vancouver in 2009 with the support of The Keep A Breast Foundation, the US non-profit state-approved foundation. Keep A Breast is not your typical breast cancer and awareness charity. We work and collaborate with musicians, individuals from the action sports industry, fine artists, and amazing events like Color Me Rad; to reach out to young Canadians and educate them on the importance of breast health.
